History
Shickich Strategies was established by Mary Lynne Shickich in 2013. Shickich is a third-generation Wyoming native. For more than 25 years, she has served in numerous government and public relations leadership roles at the state and federal levels – experience that has positioned her well to represent clients in Wyoming.
Prior to Shickich Strategies, Mary Lynne served as the Vice President of External Affairs, Community Relations and the Hospital Foundation at Wyoming Medical Center – Central Wyoming’s preeminent medical facility. She has also served as the Senior Vice President of the Wyoming Hospital Association and as the National Grassroots Project Director at the American Hospital Association. Through these experiences, she developed a successful track record of mobilizing constituents to influence legislation and understanding of clients’ needs.
Shickich was the outstanding undergraduate student in Political Science at the University of Wyoming. She was awarded the prestigious Eagleton Institute of Politics Fellowship at Rutgers University, where she received her Master's Degree in Policy with a thesis on the Older Americans Act, evaluating the successes of the congregate meals site funding for seniors.
